Waaaaay overdue on posting to our blog, it's been a year folks! But, if you've kept up with us on our IG and Facebook pages, you've at least got some idea of what we've been doing. But for those unaware, we hit Motor City Comic Con and The Black Age of Comics and Manga Con this year, the latter marking my first time back since 2017 with Bushi artist, Darryl Anderson in tow, debuting some of his own art prints. Rewinding to Motor City, it was a fun time with our con brothers in the mix, Terrell Culbert of Last Son Comics and Dave Brown of Thru The Storm Comix. My debut sketch book, The Imaginarium did well and as usual the collected Bushi bundles sold out! Fastforward to Motor City Black Age of Comics and Manga, hosted by Andre Batts this past September. We once again were reunited with our buddies, Terrell and Dave and some new friends made at Motor City earlier in the year. This event was a very chill vibe, but had a lot of great artist and attendees to interact with, we'll definitely be returning for their 2026 event. On the creative end of things, this years been slow going with my time being taken by commitments to my other ventures outside of Core Studios. However, with things slowing down on that end, I'm gradually getting back on track with Knight Rangers. Expect to see some new content churning out over the next few months leading up to Motor City Comic Con 2026. Maybe, even something holiday themed :) In the meantime, keep an eye out for occasional news via our IG & Facebook pages. Enjoy spooky season folks! Best, Roberto A
